Current implementation status
Cookies and local storage
This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are
currently used in Subtitle Studio. The app is designed for local
browser processing with minimal technical storage.
1. Current status
In the current version, advertising, profiling, and non-essential
third-party analytics cookies are not enabled by default.
- No consent banner is shown because expected storage is technical/necessary only.
- If non-essential analytics or ad tech are introduced, prior consent will be requested where legally required.
2. Technical storage that may be used
- Browser cache for static files.
- Cache Storage, IndexedDB, and similar local mechanisms used by browser/libraries to avoid repeated downloads.
- Temporary local buffers generated while processing media in the browser.
This storage is strictly technical and intended to run the service
efficiently.
3. How to manage or delete storage
- You can clear cookies, site data, cache, IndexedDB, and local storage from browser settings.
- After clearing storage, models/binaries/resources may need to be downloaded again.
- Blocking storage may prevent proper operation of the tool.
4. Future changes
If analytics, heatmaps, chat widgets, A/B testing, ads, or other
non-exempt technologies are added, this policy and consent flows
will be updated accordingly.
5. Contact
For cookie/storage questions, contact
bj.azul238@gmail.com.
No ad cookies by default
The website is designed to work without marketing-cookie layers. If
non-exempt technologies are added, consent and policy text will be
updated at the same time.
